So... this is Burano. a little town near Venice :aww: I've got another shot I'd like to upload about this place... so colourful huh? :D But I don't know if I should... Oh well I guess I'll end up uploading that picture as well :D

Okay I've got nothing more to say, that's it :D

I like the colors, I like the frame, people walking around in the street which makes for a very good picture. Colors are nice and saturated, the contrast also seems pretty good (maybe you could add a little more in post process just to make the shot more dramatical, but that's just my opinion).
But what I don't like and what in fact ruins the whole image for me is too shallow depth of field.
First, you focused way too close (note that the bycicle handlebar is sharp, so is the red chair a little further back and the rest is a blur).
Second, your F value was way too small. I don't know what it was since I can't see the EXIF data, but I would have gone with at least F/12 to get a decent DOF plus i'd try to focus somewhere in the line of the feet of people walking in the street to really maximise the sharpness of whole picture.

Technique wasn't the greatest on this one but it's got a lot of potential. Work on your technical skill and when you'll grasp that, combined with such a good eye for nice shots, you'll be making very good pictures!

/not the shortest of critiques, but i hope i've given you some guidelines to work by in future/
